Encourage Australian businesses to invest in green energy in Vietnam

Vietnam encourages Australian businesses to invest in research and technology transfer in the energy sector, especially green, clean, renewable and environmentally friendly energy.

The information was released when the Minister of Science and Technology (S&T) Huynh Thanh Dat worked in Australia within the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2023 (GEC).

Minister Huynh Thanh Dat worked with the CEO of the Australian National Science Agency; Executive General Director of the Center for International Agricultural Cooperation; Australian Minister for Industry, Science and Resources, etc.

At the meeting with Australian Minister of Industry, Science and Natural Resources Ed Husic, Minister Huynh Thanh Dat appreciated the two Ministries’ implementation of Vietnam-Australia Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Initiative Program with the support of the Australian Government.

Minister Huynh Thanh Dat said that this program will further strengthen science and technology potentials and promote scientific research and technology development as well as innovation of Vietnam and help the country achieve the goals of green growth and sustainable development, bringing net emissions to zero by 2050.

Currently, Vietnam encourages Australian businesses to invest in research and technology transfer in the energy sector, especially green, clean, renewable and environmentally friendly energy.

Minister Huynh Thanh Dat hopes that the two countries will continue to organize international science and technology forums, seminars, and conferences to create conditions for seniors of the two countries to connect, exchange and share technologies and solutions in the energy sector.
