VIETNAM LABORATORY ACCREDITATION SCHEME (VILAS)

One of the accreditation schemes of the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) based on ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 standards and standards in related fields. BoA organizes and operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011: 2004 and is a member of the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with members of APLAC (Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation). So far BoA has assessed and recognized more than 900 laboratories. The field BoA has accredited includes Mechanical, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics – Electronics, Building Materials, Non-destruction testing, Measurement and Calibration, Biosafety and Medical.

The test/calibration results recognized by BoA will be acknowledged across the world, enhancing technical ability, management, accuracy, and reliability of the laboratory.
Hoa Binh electrical laboratory is implementing activities based on BoA’s regulations to be recognized as VILAS. The implementation of PEC follows international standard ISO/IEC 17025 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” refers to the system management requirements and technical requirements for the laboratories to apply. The requirements in the standards are built to apply to all fields of testing and calibration. The Office of Quality recognition adds additional materials to interpret for each field of calibration or testing as well as for testing, calibration techniques.

Accordingly, PEC is collaborating with lecturers from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and experts from professional units in Ho Chi Minh City to set up training courses for our human resources for upcoming work. PEC’s members are mainly Doctors, Masters, and graduated lecturers from either domestic or international reliable universities so that all the work is executed in a timely manner. With the experience to implement a quality management system complying with ISO 9001 – 2015, PEC assures that work is taken seriously and quickly. Because no one knows better than PEC about the importance of organizing a world-standard laboratory.
