Vietnam’s National Day on September 2, 1945, marks the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, which is now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. September 2 is considered a brilliant milestone in the thousand-year journey of nation-building and defense of the Vietnamese people.
