DEVELOPING WIND ENERGY SOURCES IN VIETNAM

On December 11, 2019, representatives of Hoa Binh Energy Consulting Co., Ltd had a meeting with the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Lak province, including Mr. Vo Ngoc Tuyen – representatives of DOIT, Mr. Yalim – representatives of VNM Singapore, Mr. Cedric and Mr. Nguyen Phan Dinh – representatives of EDF Company, representatives of Egeres Enerji – Turkey and representatives of District People’s Committees in Dak Lak. The parties discussed the implementation of ALPHA and BETA wind power projects with a total capacity of phase 1 up to 70 MW.

Dak Lak has great wind power potential (total estimated capacity of 1400 MW). Currently, PEC has been cooperating to develop wind power projects in the province, accompanying investors during the development process from additional planning documents, FS reports, to technical design, legal document consulting, project management, COD, and operation.

With experience in developing the very first wind power projects in Vietnam, including a team of experienced, dedicated specialists, PEC is looking forward to successful cooperation in upcoming renewable energy projects.
